Lauren Kate was born on 21st March, 1981 in Ohio. She grew up in Dallas, went to school in Atlanta and started writing in New York. She is the author of Fallen, Torment, Passion, Rapture and The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove. Her books have been translated into over 30 languages. Today, Lauren lives in Laurel Canyon with her husband, hoping to work in a restaurant kitchen and learning how to surf.
